Trademark misuse(HONDA)
Hi everyone,
Good evening.
I am a seller of Automotive Parts & Accessories , our products are suitable for different vehicles.
Why is "Trademark misuse(HONDA)" received today? I'm sure my listing and product description pages are correct, why would Amazon grab my Trademark misuse?
If I don't add the brand of the vehicle I'm adapting to, how will buyers be able to distinguish my product clearly? I don't believe that other sellers in this category are licensed for these brands. It's not fair to me :(
Thanks

Is there something in/on the item that is readily identifiable as LOOKING like it's 'Honda'?
There was just a case where a seller had items that didn't even use the name but the DESIGN was clearly Harley Davidson emblem knock offs.
There are rules for how you have to refer to something when you are using a TM. Hopefully someone has the section flagged but I don't.

EVERYTHING in your listing must say "Fits" or "For" Honda. You cannot call anything Honda that isn't made by that brand

Hello @Certain_Truck
Thank you for the information provided. I understand you received a trademark misuse violation for ‘Honda’. As mentioned in the thread, you are able to list the brand if it is compatible with the product, but it does need to follow the guidelines as seen in our FAQ regarding trademarks. If it is not set up correctly, it will cause a violation that will pull the listing down.
To resolve this violation, you will want to review the listing and make edits to ensure that the trademark is being used correctly. If you run into any issues or have any questions, continue to refer here for additional guidance.

Hello @certain_Truck_link
Thank you for the additional information. I understand there is still some confusion with the detail. Could you provide some clarification on what detail you are looking for? If you are looking for information on what a trademark is, I would refer to the detail provided by @Its_all_Nuts_again as they have provided some great detail.
Ultimately, you will need to review the listing and adjust as needed to ensure the trademark attached to the listing is being used correctly. If it is not being used as it should be, you risk receiving a violation. Have you been able to identify any issues associated with the trademark up to this point?
If there are any additional questions, continue to refer here for additional guidance.
