Net 90 Day for invoiced orders???

I was shocked to find out that Amazon allows Net 90 Days on payment of invoiced orders. The policy states that it's usually within 30-45 days, but why and how am I expected to wait 90 days for payment on an order?! We are a small mom and pop business. If Amazon wants to offer these ridiculously long payment times, why should I have to suffer for it?! On top of that, most of our orders are under $30 -- is that REALLY a hardship to pay promptly? I have one order that is Net 90 and the total invoice is $18.75. Really? Just pay me already!

I also discovered that Amazon really doesn't have a limit. Who's to say they can't make Net 120 or even Net 240 if they wanted to!

Hello @Seller_3jKXhYyd3shI1- and thanks for sharing this feedback with us here on the forums. I'll be sure to log it as appropriate for our teams as they consider future program updates, but it is true that payment terms can differ by buyers and are approved by Amazon. It is also true that Amazon will assume the risk and credit the available balance of the sellers' Selling on Amazon account on the 7th day past the due date if the customer has not paid by that time.

I also wanted to ensure you had this Pay by Invoice page close by, as it does contain the above details, and shares a possibility to change your invoiced order payment settings and opt to get your payment credited to the available balance of your Selling on Amazon account immediately after shipment confirmation by paying a processing charge of 1.5% of the invoiced amount for each transaction.

I hope this information helps, and thank you again for posting.
