"Owe Us A VAT Refund Of Over $15,000"

You are a seller from another country WITHOUT NATIONAL VAT number and Amazon MUST collect VAT from you for all their fees (monthly subscription, FBA fees, ads etc.) and send this VAT to your country. You are a final customer buying something from another country and thus you owe VAT to your governement for this purchase.

So, since your contry received this VAT from Amazon,you have to ask it back from your VAT authority, exactly how you ask a refund for the VAT you payed IN your country.

@CR_Amazon is so kind to make researches, but believe me, Amazon cannot refund you this money. YOU have to put it on your regular VAT declaration and ask a refund from your VAT authority.

You have to urgently contact your local VAT authority. BUT - in case you don't get a VAT refund actually for your local purchases, this money is lost. You have to request a national (or European in case you live in Europe) VAT number, put it in your Amazon settings and Amazon will stop to collect VAT from you.

Don't forget the amount Amazon charges to borrow money from them. That seems like a reasonable addition amount they owe you.
