OTP error
This morning I am having problem with one of my desktop device. On this particular device whenever i log into Amazon any site, after the password the site ask for OTP to send to my cell phone, once i click on it to send the OTP, right away i get error message as
THERE WAS A PROBLEM please wait atleast one minute before requessting another OTP.
even after two hours i requsted OTP and same message appeared within a second.
Is it a glitch or anything wrong in my account setting?
on my other device its connected all the time so whenever i open my browser and go to amazon site, its doesn't go to any password process , but when i tried to change the login information, it ask for OTP when i click to send OTP exact same error message appeared.

Hi @Seller_7gxh2PumjwHEt,
Steve from Amazon here, I am sorry that you are experiencing issues with this. In this situation, please create a case to Seller Support as they will need to troubleshoot this on the back-end to determine if there is a system issue occurring here.
Once you create the case please feel free to drop the case ID here and let me know if Seller Support is unable to resolve this for you.
Thanks,
Steve

Same here. It tends to happen in the evenings more than during the day.

Hi @Steve_Amazon - I have been having the same OTP problem as discussed on this thread. It happened one week ago and again last night. I had the identical problem with VC sign-on. I tried three different browsers, cleared my cookies and even tried to login from a different computer. Opening up a case right now. Hope this isn't an on-going issue. Thanks!

Can everyone please advise if they are still experiencing issues with the OTP? If so, please provide a case ID where you have escalated this to Seller Support.
Also, as a best practice, the quickest way to get interaction with a Community Manager is create a new thread in the Forums explaining your issue.
Thanks,

Please complete the following steps if you are still having issues with this.
1. Verify that you are using the correct email and password combination. If you have more than one Amazon account with the same email address but different passwords, use the corresponding password for each account.
2. Ensure that there are no extra spaces in your password. This can happen when you copy and paste your password from somewhere else.
3. Verify that you entered the most recent Two-Step Verification code you have received, if you are prompted to enter one. Older codes will not work. For more information, see Two-Step Verification FAQ.
4. To reset your Two-Step Verification follow the steps here
5. Clear your browser cookies and cache or try logging in with a different browser or device.
6. Use our Password assistance page to verify whether the email address you are using is the one registered in our system.
7. Log on to Seller Central using your new email and password combination.
If this does not resolve the issue, please use the Contact Us link here.
Thanks,
Steve
