Need Urgent Help with Account Deactivation Due to Confusion with Linked Account

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out for some guidance or assistance from a specialist regarding my seller account. A month ago, Amazon deactivated my account, stating that it was related to another account. However, I am completely confused because the notifications I received indicate that it’s being linked to the same account I currently use. As far as I know, it's not possible to have two stores with the same name, and I don’t recognize any other accounts under my name.

I have already submitted multiple appeals, but I keep getting the same response without any clear explanation. Since the issue seems to revolve around my current account being linked to itself, I don't have additional supporting documents to provide, which makes this even more frustrating.

I’m running out of time to appeal, and I feel stuck without a clear solution. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Any advice or help from someone with experience handling this would be greatly appreciated.

I have a couple of questions for you as it seems both accounts may belong to you but be in a different location or country.

Have you ever opened another account at any time? If you did, even in error, and did not complete the registration of that account, it could now be deactivated. That, in turn, would deactivate your US Store. If this is what happened, you would first need to reactivate that store and then you would be able to reactivate the US store.

Have you checked ALL your Performance Notifications in ALL your stores? Usually if you have a US store, you also have a Canada store and possibly a store in Mexico. Each location may receive different notifications, that may give you more insight into the issue.

If you provide a case ID or Performance Notification, I would be able to provide more specific information. For now, please review this: Amazon Global Selling
