Your account is not valid

I think the Amazon FBA model is now over. Now Amazon USA seems to only want private label sellers.

Three days ago, I made a deal for a product that was registered as a brand on Amazon and sold in popular stores around the world, and I paid money for the products.

I had checked the same ASIN number before, it just wanted an invoice, so I waited until I requested this invoice from the beneficiary.

After receiving the products, I requested an invoice from the rightful owner. To send the invoice and get listing approval, I entered the ASIN number and pressed the "request approval" button. The only text I see on my screen is "Your account is not valid"

Really?

There is no other information. I ask Amazon support why this is and they say some brands may do this or it has to do with the seller's account metrics.

Everything is perfect on my account, there are no violations. There are only two violations that I have previously filed with a sales permit and proof of authenticity.

Whatever causes this situation, it causes serious financial damage. If this unfair problem is not fixed in a short time, I will suffer serious financial losses.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

some of these ppl that are replying are not reading your story well enough but i know exactly what you are talking about. to sum it up ppl he is saying that he wanted to sell a product he found for a good price, went to ungated it, needed an invoice, so he bought the product and then went back to give the invoice to amazon only to be met with a " we are not taking new sellers for this item" Bs. even thought 24 hours ago you could apply and sell it

Go to your Performace Notifications and there should be a message from Amazon telling you what happened and what to do to resolve it. Post that message here (remove any personal info). Anyone that is going to really be able to help you is going to need to see exactly what Amazon told you.

I am experiencing a similar situation as you, but I received the following message:

"We have completed our review of your application and have concluded that it does not meet the criteria for approval at the moment. We see that you are trying to create a listing for one of the brands which is currently restricted. We are currently not accepting applications to create ASIN(s) for the provided brand name 'abc...'."

I wasn't even given the opportunity to submit a letter of authorization to sell from the brand owner.

I took a look at the ASIN mentioned on CASE ID filed on September 1st, 2024 ending in 3571 and it looks like you are able to apply to sell the product:

For certain products, brands, categories, and sub-categories, we require sellers to obtain approval before listing products. The approval process may include document requests, performance checks, and other qualifications. To learn more about that process click here.
