parcel lost under Amazon Easyship and no compensation info from J&T Express after 2 weeks passing
J&T Tracking no JTAMZ00218781 for order no 250-5752008-5810259 (a Samsung tablet) was picked up on 29 Dec and no further update after. Customer alerted us on 8Jan. On 9Jan tracking info changed to parcel lost and Amazon customer service requested us to refund customer. WE replied to help us locate the item first. On 10 Jan we received email that order was refunded by customer service without our knowledge. We hoped that Amazon would help us liaise with J&T for compensation but until now no info so far.
WE contacted J&T via p[hone 2 times. On 9Jan, agent said person-in-charge will contact within 24 hr but none. On 12 Jan, we called in again and agent replied had to wait 5 working days from 9Jan we reported. It also passed without any info. Their chat service was waiting for agent to come without expected time frame and finally you had to give up.
Easy Ship was initiated by Amazon and we expected that Amazon should take proactive responsible approach dealing with carrier for item lost like other marketplace. You should facilitate the compensation process between seller and carrier. .Leaving seller dealing with carrier alone is not a healthy approach. We seek your immediate action for this issue.

Further update on this case, We got full reimbursement from Amazon on 19 Jan after submitting claim from help. If you can't find the topic, you may select other issues to submit. Our first try did not work so we posted in this forum. Since no reply from forum, we did another try submitting under "other issues' and it worked. Got reply from Amazon next day and they reimbursed. Important thing is that we have to submit claim with evidence and it will not automatically reimburse.
