Amazon Buy Shipping DHL Guarantees?

We recently shipped a $699.00 item to Turkey via DHL using 'Amazon Buy Shipping'. We received notice from DHL customs that Turkey has changed their limit for non-commercial imports from $1500 to $150 (what??). Regardless, the item is being returned now.

Do we have any protections or guarantees having used Amazon Buy Shipping? The carrier took possession of the item within the required time frame, and it was shipped DDP as well.

Additionally, the customer opened a return for the item using the reason 'Did not approve purchase', which we have an Amazon message from them specifically confirming that they wanted us to complete and ship the order.

I was reviewing your cases with Seller Support and was not able to locate one with this specific issue, have you contacted them ?

Also keep in mind that there are specific timeframes in case that a claim is opened regarding this shipment.
