Low inventory fee and minimum levels trying to understand
On my inventory restock page I see the following...this is on inventory labeled LOW STOCK.
FBA (Low stock) 11
On-hand : 11
Min. Level: 12
Am I reading this right that Amazon says I should have 12 of these on hand? And that anything under 12 will receive an additional fee each time it's sold until I reach that minimum level??
This is a winter clothing item with discontinued pattern. One I cannot restock and wouldn't want to with summer in a few months.
Assuming I'm reading this right (and probably if I'm not reading it right) how is this anything but a punishment for using FBA? As we come off of the seasonal selling period and I'm looking at my data and what they are stating are minimum levels all I see is this additional "fee" reducing my profit margins more and making the dance of storage fees that much more difficult.

How about that. Amazon only makes ONE SIZE FITS ALL policies. Seems like Amazon wants more of your profit or doesn't want that product sold in FBA.
Seems like selling discontinued clothing using FBM would be a much better choice, and allow you to keep more of the profit.
