Malicious copyright infringement complaint - methods to prevent this attack or abuse?
Anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent a malicious actor from attacking your listing with a false or malicious copyright infringement complaint? I was attacked by a competitor who just copied my ASIN pictures and text onto a Chinese website which was then later taken down by the competitor himself. However, I am still awaiting reinstatement of my own brand registered ASIN after filing a DMCA counter-notice about 1 month ago.
Any method to prevent these types of attacks on my listings in the future? It seems like this is a very successful type of blackhat attack as I understand there is no method of preventing Amazon from taking down your listing for 2-4 weeks but thought the community may have insight into this situation and attack. Even though my listing had 8000+ reviews and the complaint URL had 0 reviews and 0 sales, my ASIN was taken down. How do we prevent this attack?
