Seller Support Case dissapeared. What's happening?

I've been working with Seller Support for a few days on one of the cases. In short, an ASIN was showing on the regular Amazon website, but not on B2B: the product page is there, but, for some reason, it says "Item removed. Product no longer available for purchase on Amazon Business." No offers from any sellers are available at B2B site.

All I was trying to figure out why this was happening and how this could be undone. The item was for business, many sellers sold hundreds of these, has great ratings, low return ratio, a perfect product. Suddenly, Amazon blocks this product to B2B customers without any notice. I had some Amazon business customers call me to inquire what's happening and why they can't buy the product at Amazon which became a standard for them.

At first, SS staff was giving me answers relating to Buy Box, which has nothing to do with the issue. After some convincing on my part and asking to escalate the case to supervisor or leadership, they said that they engaged with Amazon engineers for further investigation and resolution. That was a day or two ago.

Anyway, today I wanted to check on the status of the case and it's not on the list of my cases at Amazon (cleared all filters, checked all tabs). Basically, it looks like it was deleted. I've read that some sellers have experienced the same with some of their cases: cases, suddenly, disappear without a trace.

Is this a new way of handling SS cases when SS staff doesn't want or doesn't know how to help?

Can we get a Community manager to take a look at this? Case # 14360762761. @Blake_Amazon?

The follow up:

I ended up opening a brand new case, simply asking what happened to the original case. Received a reply, saying they can't find it in their system and asked what was the issue. I explained, getting ready for another lengthy back and forth conversation before the right person addresses the issue, but, to my surprise, the issue was quickly fixed to my satisfaction.

This is just for you folks whose SS cases mysteriously disappear: open a new case and ask what happened, and go from there.
