Fix Stranded Inventory issue when trying to ship new product

Does anyone else have this situation?

Every month or so Amazon will somehow say that one of my units is stranded inventory. The options are to create a new listing, or create a removal order. I have automatic removal orders set for these cases.

The issue comes when I want to send in more inventory of that product (Amazon could have 100 units, but they are requesting more since I will run out in a week or so). I'm presented with an error that says that I cannot send in more inventory until I have fixed the stranded inventory issue. At this point I go to the "Fix stranded inventory page" Create a new removal order. When I complete the popup to remove the stranded inventory, I get a popup that says confirmation, success or something to that effect. There is then a close button. This button will not close the popup.

I then go back to the fix stranded inventory page and click on the option to "refresh stranded reason" That says "update successful, wait 15 min".

So I wait 15+ min.

I do this and then try to ship and I still have the error. There is also a notice "If you have resolved all errors, you can save your packing template again". So I save the packing template again... or sometimes I will create a whole new packing template.

Even though 15 min has resolved, and I've done all these steps multiple times, I'm still stuck and unable to send in more inventory.

I've tried to get support to help, but they have been no help and don't understand the issue. But clearly there is some flaw in their setup/program, it's just not something that happens often enough that they ever fix this issue.
