Inaccurate Shipping adjustment $360+ for DHL !
I am in upstate NY where shipping to Canada is very affordable. I shipped a small laptop to buyer via DHL with estimated cost of $38. I received a shipping adjustment of over $360 due to weight adjustment of 2lb and depth of box 4inch difference. I calculated those numbers directly into DHL website and shows $164, of which I'm sure I am not getting the Amazon discount on shipping. Even without that discount, thats over $200 difference.
I tried a dispute/case with Amazon seller support and just get the same response that its due to dimensional differences and I agreed to DHL to recalculate and rebill charges. I ask for the itemized bill/invoice from DHL with breakdown of charges so I can review why its such a substantial adjustment, but I just get the same copy and paste answer each time, no responding directly to my questions. So somehow I am left with paying $400 to ship a small computer a few 100 miles away.
