Amazon Handmade provides a platform for showcasing and selling your unique, handcrafted products to customers around the world. To be listed in Amazon Handmade, your products must meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Amazon Handmade Product Eligibility and our Title, Image, and Customization standards for Handmade products. As part of the Handmade community, you can connect with other Handmade sellers to share experiences and seek advice. Selling Handmade items on Amazon gives you the freedom to create and sell handmade items, allowing for artistic expression and innovation.
Amazon Handmade benefits
* Each handmade item sold is eligible for a lower referral fee, provided that you have a Professional Selling Plan enabled on your account.
* Amazon Handmade provides a personalized profile for your products
* After joining Amazon, creating your shop and listing products is free. You will not incur any transaction or processing fees
* Once you are approved to sell in Handmade and have successfully enrolled in the Professional selling plan, Amazon will waive the monthly fee for the Professional Selling Plan
* We have an application and audit process to ensure that we are curating a shop of truly handcrafted goods.
Amazon Handmade Program Eligibility
* An approved selling account on Amazon that has a Professional selling plan activated, with no restrictions from selling
* Independent makers, working alone or with fewer than 20 individuals to create products
* Collaborative groups – cooperatives, non-profits, or charities:
The following are NOT permitted in Amazon Handmade:
* Outsourcing of product production
* Drop-shipping of products
* Reselling products by third parties
The following items are not allowed to be sold in the Amazon Handmade store:
* Digital or downloadable products
* Food or other indigestible products
* Electronics
* Live plants – other than ‘air plants’ which may be included with hand-crafted planters or containers
* Raw materials and crafting supplies are not allowed to be sold in the Handmade store, with the following exceptions:
* Crafting supplies that are included in a DIY kit
* Crafting supplies that have been made by you, the maker, for example, hand-crafted yarn or felt
* Crafting supplies that have been altered by you, the maker, for example, per-purchased wool or yarn that you have dyed
