New seller restricted in basically everything including books
Hello,
I am a new seller and haven't sold anything. I am trying to sell some books, but each one I'm restricted in. There are very very rare cases that I could sell a book and it usually has no other sellers. It was my understanding that books were the one thing that new sellers usually had access to sell and weren't gated in. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks all.

Michelle at Amazon here. I have reviewed your account and have verified that you are authorized to sell books, however, many books now require approval to be sold. If this is the case, you will get an option to request approval, however, please know that many books are only allowed to be sold by authorized sellers that the publisher has approved. As you are new, you may find this post helpful that will help provide you with some information on how to get your listings approved. Please know that this doesn't guarantee that you will get approved, as again, some products require you to get approval directly from the brand.
