I am an individual FBM seller - have not been paid for any of my Jan. 2025 sales!
I've been selling on Amazon for 22 years - mostly rare & OOP books. I am down to a small stock of books, but still making sales . I have not been paid for any of them yet this month!
Despite postings by AZ that this issue has been resolved, IT HAS NOT. In December 2024, payments were deferred until 1 week after delivery! This is still happening. I need to pay for the shipping up front, then wait until the next month to be paid. This is a big problem!
It seems like yet one more way to hinder & discourage FBM sellers.

Sounds like you are simply involved in Amazon's holdback of funds to cover the costs of refunds since you are selling one-offs.
There is not discouragement, it is simply what you are selling that makes the risk higher for Amazon selling.

its ridiculous. eBay pays you the NEXT day for sales. Amazon sucks.

Deferred payments is a thing. It is going to stay.

@Seller_4FofJ6OqBc0fB As part of our Payments based on delivery date policy, Amazon typically reserve your sales proceeds until seven days after an order is delivered. To provide sellers with more visibility into reserved funds, Amazon added a new deferred transactions status on the Payments dashboard in November.
If you are seeing payments deferred for what you believe to be an extended period of time, your best next step is to request more information from support.
The original announcement for the updates was announced here:
View your reserved payments in the new Deferred Transactions report
You can also review the information provided about deferred transactions in the What is a deferred transaction? help page and about delivery date payment policy in the Payments based on delivery date help page.

If you recently sold something very expensive...AZ may want to wait until its delivered...sort of like a "reserve."
