Changes being made to my product but not by me
Hi, I manufacture skin care products and am the sole owner of them (I have not branded them in Amazon). Yesterday I noticed the title of one of my products changed and I did not change it. There are also new keywords and description items that I did not change myself. When I try to edit keywords, etc., I am not able to. Did someone “brand” my products without my knowledge? I don't know how someone can get into my inventory and change things. I have two-step verification sent to my cell phone, so I don't know how anyone other than myself has access to my Amazon account and is able to make changes to my products. Thank you for any help you can provide.

No one needs access to your account to do changes.
Your listings are part of the Amazon Common Catalog. Once created they join that catalog automatically. At that point others may suggest changes to the page at any time and Amazon will take what they believe to be the best changes and implement them.
Yes, it is entirely possible that someone claimed your brand on Amazon because you did not do so.

are perhaps a victim of brand hijacking? like for example this brand "Stoko" was hijacked by black hat brand "zupishi"
https://www.amazon.com/Stoko-99027563-Cherry-Cleaner-Softbottle/dp/B009R8P8LC
Looks like the "zupishi" brand hijacker is currently on a mission to hijack as many cosmetics brands as possible
like this "Pecksniffs" brand
https://www.amazon.com/Pecksniffs-Hand-Wash-Lavender-White/dp/B0088F2XSQ
USE YOUR BRAND registry interface and report violation - if you are not brand registered, report violation via your seller central
you can find hundreds of famous cosmetics brands hijacked by ZUPISHI in this Amazon search

Is it this listing by chance? The brand is listed Zupishi but it has your brand name in the listing. Looks like someone could be trying to take over your listings.

Brand registry will NOT help you from NOT GETTING HIJACKED as to your Brand being safe from the Brand Hijacking. Brand Hijacking is when a bad actor, read hacker, insider, etc... changes your brand to another brand.
This is usually done through Vendor Central account that has been repurposed by the bad actor to CHANGE BRANDS on Amazon Listings.
The only thing that can help is to convince Amazon to close the back door in it's system allowing these hackers to change any brand on any Amazon USA listing with a click of a button.
Just to prove a point, here is a quick list from today where the Black Hat Bad Actor change the brand, from FAMOUS and surely brand-registered listing to a brand "Zupishi"
Note:
- if you search USPTO for brand "zupishi" it does not even exist as application in process - so the hacker can change the brand to anything, USPTO registered or not
- Note the brands changed, most famous cosmetics brands in the world
- To preserve evidence, all these URLs were saved in the waybackmachine internet archive today so there is a record of how the brands were mass hacked on Amazon today
- The bad actor has so many privileges on Amazon Marketplace that they can not only change any listing to any brand, but they can cherrypick for cosmetics brands only.
Hijacked Major Band listings on Amazon today 6/24/2023 - there is over 1,000 of them right now, but Amazon will only list up to a 1,000 via brand registry report tool... so we do not know if 1,000 or 100,000 listings were Brnd Hijacked today
I will post the list in the follow up post here, as the censor bot is having an issue....

Whether you create the template or not, you simply do not own it. Other sellers can piggy-back as long as the product matches. Welcome to the competitive marketplace.

Most likely grammar and spelling mistakes. For me, they're all permanent.

That's the truth: Amazon has a lawful backdoor system. like the Deep State. Yes you may create an ASIN/product, but you DON'T own it. Sounds weird? But it's true. Amazon actually owns it. And in reality the evil sellers may use this power to change it, what's even worse, they even have the power to add some illegal words in order to devastate your ASIN/listing. You may be told that once you registered a brand and can solve this, but I'm telling you that's not as naive as you think.

If you have a generic product on Amazon they don't have to go into your account to make the changes. The next step will be that you may receive a copyright infringement from the scammers that you list under their "brand"

You are extremely foolish to be in that category and not have IP protection. You should immediately register your brand in the property class, generally Class 3, but perhaps Class 5. You should immediately check that your brandname is available. If it is not you are in big trouble. I own multiple trademarks in Class 5 and other classes. I always thought you had to have a registered trademark to get into Amazon brand registry or use their incubator, but I was officially told by Amazon that the mark only has to be applied for. Do a good search or your mark will be refused and you will lose your $250. If you are outside the US though, you will have to hire a US attorney to do the app.

We see this ALL the time, for example: you list a shirt it becomes a shoe, you list a banana it becomes an orange and so on
Sellers change the product that was listed to sell what they have!! The biggest problem is when a buyer purchases the orange and you don't have this product how can you explain this mess. You don't ship you get a defect!!
The only way is to delete listing. If you have thousands listed who is going to check those everyday!!
