FBA18WS40PG2 - Missing Items from Inbound

In April, I sent a shipment consisting of 2 boxes with a total of 72 units to the Amazon fulfillment center under Shipment ID: FBA18WS40PG2. However, 36 units went missing. I have followed Amazon’s instructions to investigate the discrepancy and locate the missing units.

We submitted the electronic invoice, which was automatically provided by our supplier via email, including all the necessary details regarding the lost shipment. Additionally, the tracking information for both boxes confirms that the shipment was delivered to GLENDALE, AZ, US. However, we only received confirmation for one box being received, and the other box appears to be missing.

Amazon later notified us that the shipment did not meet one or more requirements for acceptance, and the issue of the 36 missing units has not been resolved. This is a significant amount of our inventory—not a small quantity—and we urgently need your assistance in tracking and recovering the missing box.

For information about recent updates to the reimbursement policy I recommend reviewing the FBA inventory reimbursement policy page.

We may decline your sourcing cost submission for the following reasons:

  • Your submission is an outlier compared to similar products or our cost estimate.
  • Any documentation is forged, tampered with, or illegible.
  • Your account is suspected of fraud, significant policy violations, or non-compliant selling activities.
  • You already submitted and received a decision on a cost update request or reimbursement amount dispute for the same item within the last 30 days and have not supplied any new information to reconsider our decision.

If we decline your submitted sourcing cost, we will reimburse you based on a previously approved amount that you submitted or our estimate of your sourcing cost for the item.

If you do not agree with the listed valuation of a unit, the best next step is to file a dispute using Contact Us in Seller Central within 60 days after we have issued the reimbursement.
