I hate the new beta files. (You can still download the old files. There is an option.)

I used to use Open Office and the original variation files worked fine. Open Office does not work with the new beta flat files but there is no error message or anything. It presents itself like you did something wrong.

After weeks of believing I do not know how to upload product feeds, I realized that Open Office omits some pages of the flat file when you save it. I had to pay for a basic membership for Microsoft Excel and it fixed my problem with the new beta flat files.
