GTIN hijacking Issue error 8541 (Amazon support are not helping)
I'm a new seller and have been trying to create a listing with 5 variations.
I was able to create 4 of them however one shows the GTIN hijacking error 8541 where an ASIN outside of my account is using my GTIN number.
Getting help from Amazon has been impossible after several tickets.
What is worse is that due to instructions from Amazon Support to import it using a flat file has resulted in the problematic ASIN being duplicated into my own account bringing across with it images that are not mine from the listing which stole my GTIN.
My ticket number is: 2832041153
After 4 days of waiting and talking to multiple people on the phone and waiting for their internal catalogue team, someone responded with "share us the screenshot" as if this is a new ticket or something. I provided all that in the beginning!
All I need is for my GTIN to me removed from the ASIN which is causing this problem so that I can create my listing. Is that so much to ask??

After 6 weeks of no help I have closed this ticket as INCOMPLETE from the sheer lack of support.
I ended up acquiring a new GTIN to fix it.
