Customer Requested Cancellation, We Canceled....Then Get a Bad Feedback Asking Where Their Order is and Amazon Won't Remove It.....come on this is silly!
Customer placed an order, customer sent a formal cancellation request, we were kind enough to cancel the order.....then they leave us a feedback and even messaged us with the same thing "Where is it bro" and Amazon won't remove it.
Come on, I've seen some pretty silly things selling on Amazon but this one is beyond egregious. This can't be right can it? Why is this customer ever allowed to leave us feedback for an order that THEY requested be canceled?!

Hello @Seller_NrQ5SQL5FHGGn
Thank you for visiting the seller forums. I am sorry to hear about the issue with a cancelled order, that you cancelled after receiving a request to do so from the buyer.
I will review the order and related correspondence. I will update you here if I can assist.

Hi again, @Seller_NrQ5SQL5FHGGn
I just submitted a request to have the feedback removed in light of the circumstances, which are exactly how you explained them here. I will update you when I hear back from that business team.
Thanks, Susan

I have just received a bad feedback because the customer didn't get his refund which is given automatically by amazon 😂😂
And amazon won't remove it

If a customer requested a cancellation and we honor it; the system shouldn't even allow that customer to leave a feedback, end of story.
Amazon lets get this fixed please!

Welcome to Amazon. Just a tiny bit of seller assistance would be great and this is a perfect example of something easily fixed by one of those bored programmers that has time to mess with everything that is NOT broken. But, they can't be bothered with the multiple things that are broken.

AMZ can simply remove the Feedback from the ODR. Best of all worlds. Sellers do not get crippled by customer lets say errors. And customers can freely leave whatever Feedback, for all to see.

Never ever cancel an order via a message from a buyer via the Amazon message system. That is a huge mistake if you do. 1 you will get hit in your Service Metrics for pre shipment cancelation. 2 yes the buyer can leave a feedback because you cancelled their order. Fair absolutely not but Amazons bots do not see the message. A buyer must go into their account and request the order be cancelled via Amazon. Only cancel an order on Amazon if you have the note on the order that states "Buyer Requested Cancelation" You will never have a problem if you do it that way. If a buyer sends you a message that says please cancel this order I ordered it by mistake tell them "Per Amazon Policies I cannot do it that way. You must go back into your order and request to cancel it there". Do I agree with this policy on Amazon absolutely not if a buyer sends a message in the message system asking you to cancel it you should be able to because you are accommodating the buyer but Amazon's Bots do not see it that way. Sorry long winded but been there done this.

There are a lot of scenarios where negative feedback is inappropriate, and this is a good example of one.
As others have said here - Amazon could put things in place to prevent this. It wouldn't be difficult to do, but the reality is that Amazon isn't very good at addressing things like this that only negatively impact third party sellers. Hopefully that's slowly changing.
