Buy box used change in books?
Starting today, there seems to be a change on many used books pages with the "buy used box"
The box now seems less favorable to FBA than before, there is also a second buy used box on some pages.
It is odd that the API is still often showing an fba offer as the used buy box winner, even as the product page is showing a different FBM offer in the used buy box. So there seems to be a disconnect between the back und data stream and the displayed data on the page.
Anyone else being effected by this or have insight if this is a change or a glitch?

My experience differs.
I see many - and I do mean many - pages on a daily basis where there are FBA offers, but an FBM is in the Buy Box.

I'm not sure that I know exactly what that means, but I have noticed no recent changes in detail page appearances. But tell me where to look and I'll see if I'm shown the same thing that you are.
I see so many different layouts on detail pages that I don't really think about it.
Sometimes the Buy Box appears in the middle of the page as opposed to the right side - more horizontal than vertical. Sometimes there are separate New and Used Buy Boxes and sometimes there aren't (this can occur on the right or in the middle).
And there are pages that appear one way one day and another way another day. I've never noticed a "pattern" because I don't believe there is one.
A few days ago, however, I did notice something different - at least for me. I had two tabs open for the same book page. One tab showed a Buy Box on that page and the other tab didn't. No matter how many times I refreshed, neither changed - even over several days.
I've learned that there are no "absolutes" on Amazon!

Am I the only one that thinks the buy box is a terrible idea for used books? It doesn't sound like a good idea for any used products, but I only sell books so my experience might be different.
