Unapproved product that does not meet the FDA's labeling requirements.

We received a warning from Amazon that goes as follows:

This product has been identified as an unapproved product that does not meet the FDA's labeling requirements. Amazon policy prohibits the sale of products marketed to U.S. consumers that are labeled only in a foreign language or that do not meet FDA labeling requirements.

The products that received the warning were hammers and wrenches.

What should we submit?

Does the hammer also require FDA certification?

Whatever you sell, the product label has to be in the language of the marketplace. Did you ever see in a supermarket of your country products with a foreign language on the label? No. These are international laws and has nothing to do with the FDA.

Thank you for the information you have provided regarding your restricted product violations. I understand it is due to the FDA labelling requirements. For this violation, you will want to check the packaging of your product. As mentioned by @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC, the labelling should be in the language for the corresponding market. If the listing is in the US, the labelling should be in English.

If it needs to be adjusted, then we would recommend making those adjustments so that the packaging is compliant. Once the proper adjustments have been made, you can submit photo evidence of these changes to show the compliance. If everything is verified, then they should be able to take the appropriate action on the listing.

If you have any additional questions or concerns regarding your situation, continue to refer here for support.

Best,

Atlas
