Cant delete Rectricted policy violation from account ,need help
Dear Amazon,
We received a restricted policy violation, case ID 14810484291. Amazon support says that they cant remove it manually and we need to wait 180 days for it to disappear. We need to underline that we never sell this product, ASIN was added to inventory accidently. We aknowledge the violation and we don’t have the documents required to reactivate this listing at this time. We will not relist on this ASIN or try to sell it again in the future. We sent the appeal several times but we receive the same replies that this violation doesnt hurt our account, but it does. I`ve attached the screen of the response from Amazon, confirming that you investigated the case and we did not violate and you yourself confirmed that we did not sell this product.
Amazon confirmed that we succesfully appealed, but violation was not taken from our account!

Again, we receiving the same replies: internal team is unable to alter this manually. Please don't reopen the case.
Please help to remove this violation! We appereciate your kind help!

Accident or not, you listed it. That implies an intent to sell, regardless of whether or not you sold any.
Yes, the 180 days of remaining on your account is standard. The fact that they are telling you that it will drop off then tells you that you've done the best you can to recover from the 'accident'.
Just make sure that no more 'accidents' happen in the future, and you should be okay.

That is correct and applies to everyone having committed a violation.
If it doesn't happen again the next 180 days it doesn't hurt your account. You continue to sell like before.
Nobody can remove a violation, neither your's nor anybody's.

Hi there @Seller_iib0SBTjqk6bj,
Thank you for utilizing the Seller Forums! I do apologize for the time it has taken for the moderating team and I to reply here. I greatly appreciate your patience.
I understand that your listing has been removed due to it being flagged as a restricted product and you have concerns about having the violation removed from the Account Health page.
Per the Account Health Rating FAQ, there are specific scenarios when a violation is removed from your account health page.
- You successfully dispute the violation, and we confirm that the violation was an error.
- The relevant rights owner retracts an intellectual property complaint.
- You successfully appeal the violation, and we determine that while you did violate these policies, it was not intentional and the violation should be forgiven.
While I understand you have deleted the listing, @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrw and @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC have mentioned, you had listed the item which is restricted and you are acknowledging that the item is restricted. While I can understand that the item was listed mistakenly and you made no sales, any item listed on Amazon is subject to all policies and terms. Having a listing in seller central shows possible intent on selling the item, thus there is the need to ensure it meets all local, state, federal laws and compliance in addition to Amazon's applicable policies.
We do appreciate you removing the listing; however, this is not one of the applicable paths to having the violation removed from the account health page.
"If your AHR is “Healthy,” your account will not be deactivated due to violations of the policies included in the AHR, unless you meet the maximum threshold for repeat violations for infringement and restricted products policies. In addition, if we suspect that you have engaged in fraudulent, deceptive, illegal, or otherwise harmful activity (including any activity that attempts to circumvent Amazon’s systems), or you violate policies that do not fall within AHR, we may deactivate your account regardless of your AHR status."
Is this violation the first you have received, or is it a repeating issue on your account? To quote that above Account Health rating page:
"Multiple violations of the same policy impact your account health in two ways. First, the point values associated with violations included in your AHR increase each time that policy is violated. That means that repeat violations will cause your AHR to degrade faster, with higher severity repeat violations having the most impact.
Second, your account may be at immediate risk of deactivation if you reach the maximum number of repeat violations for infringement-related policies or restricted products policies in a 180-day period, regardless of your AHR. In most cases, the maximum number of repeat violations is five for infringement-related policies and two for restricted product policies"
I will have to suggest you create a plan to prevent the same issues from occurring at this time.
Please continue to utilize this thread if you have any other questions so the community and I can do our best to support you.
All the best,
Stevie
