My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and there has been a significant increase in the time it takes for Brand Registry enrollment in the past 3 weeks or at least according to the number of posts that Sellers have been creating asking for us to take a look.

I did review your case and application and although currently, it is still in progress, I did notice a couple things I would like to share.

First, this Brand Name is very close to the other brand you have enrolled in Brand Registry. This is not a blocker to enrolling the brand, but might be a factor in how long it takes for the enrollment team to validate. The other thing I noticed was the Sample ASIN you provided is an ASIN for your other Brand and not the Brand that you are applying for in this application. Again, this may or may not block you from being able to successfully enroll this brand. You should know that only sample ASINs of the Brand you are applying for should be attached in the application. Last, looking at the sample ASIN you supplied, the brand name is listed as yours, but the brand name on the product itself is different and the first bullet point lists the branded products as a brand name that is not yours. I recommend reviewing the Amazon Brand Name Policy for more information on the policy, specifically, the "Using the brand attribute correctly," section.

As for the time it is taking to get resolution on your current application, the Brand Registry enrollment team is processing your application in accordance with their SOP's and there have been many Sellers with the same issue of the time it is taking. Unfortunately, I do not have an estimated time to resolve, but please know that the enrollment team is working as quickly as they can.
