Urgent: account temporarily suspended due a bug not allowing to re-verify identity for INFORM Consumers Act
Hey, our account has been temporarily suspended due to non-compliance with the INFORM Consumers Act. However, when we try to reverify the identity (see image) it is sent to the general “Get Help” page and not into the proper process. Seller support confirmed that this is a technical bug on their side since Q2 2023 (we opened multiple tickets) and I see multiple folks have complained here about it too !!!

They are saying they don’t have authority to reactivate the account and all they can do is ask the internal team to fix the bug in the process (case ID 14817089091). We are concerned this will be a death sentence to our brand so does anyone have suggestions what to do next?

Thank you for reaching out. I hope all is well.
As you have mentioned, I understand that your account is deactivated due to non-compliance with the inform consumers act and that you are having issues reverifying the identity. When an account has been deactivated for the inform consumers act and once all of the verifications have been successful, it may take up to 48 hours for the account to be fully reinstated.
Per the inform consumers act policy, all seller’s must go through an annual verification process who sell in the US stores due to a US federal law that took effect on June 27th of 2023.
Have you received an update in the case ID you have provided? If so, what was the out come of the investigation? Please provide insight and information about your account. If you have received a performance notification or a case log, attach it to the post and make sure to remove any personal information.
