Ridiculous shipping charges set by Amazon
I have been trying for well over a month to get somebody from Amazon to change the preset shipping charge that they are trying to charge my customers.
All I get from them is a generic e-mail asking for a screenshot of the listing. I have sent the screenshot to them more than a dozen times.
My item weighs less than 10 lbs, and yet they have the shipping charges set to $2504.49!
Has anybody else had this issue and if so how did you fix it?
I am so tired of asking for customer support help in the generic help section only to receive a lame, send another screen shot!

Need some more info on this one. Are you doing FBA or FBM? If you are doing FBM, are do you have an individual account or a professional one? If you are using a professional one, have you checked the shipping template that this product is assigned to see what you have the shipping cost set to?

OMG i feel your pain. I was on the phone with amazon 1 hour and 38 minute this afternoon because i switched from FBA to FBM and they deactivated all 7 of this variation because they feel I am charging to much. I know this is the reason because i put the " migrated template which was free shipping and my items instantly become active before I changed the template back to the appropriate cost.. my item is 6 lbs but because the size I am charged dimensional weight of 21 lbs and they system. 30x30x3. I was charging a flat rate of 44.99, its about 38$ anywhere on the east coast. I can understand if it wasn't dimensional weight charges or something small but these idiots schlep the same boxes FBA so they know the darn size. Its still not resolved. Zero sales and who knows when it will be resolved.
I had a phenomenal rep on the phone, he said this issue has come up before and they made suggestions but nothings changed. In addition, theres nothing in the shipping template that will FLAG you if they feel your charging to much.

I've had this issues for months with no help. I used to charge $4.99 for shipping but now charge $9.99 just in case Amazon decides to charge more. They sometimes only give the option for UPS at $25 shipping. I've had to cancel so many orderd that I'm at risk of deactivation. I'm so done with Amazon!!! I now can no longer list new items and they remove so many listings that are perfectly fine but they remove and give a bogus reason. I've probably had over 100 personal listings removed in the past few months. After 7 years I think I'm down to my final days.

Seller support has guidelines that no less then 5 emails are required before they can resolve a matter. They hope you give up.

It's ridiculous...anything bigger than a matchbox seems to get tagged with dimensional weight now.

We had this happen and we did a screenshot of the product page with the weight listed, a picture of the item on a scale with the weight, and one of the item packaged for shipment with the weight.
They didn't like that and sent the original seller support message back to us. I responded with the information that has already been provided, please escalate the case to the internal team for the proper correction. It worked! The front line people only know how to copy paste so you need to get around them.
