Delay shipping USPS ATLANTA Georgia

USPS has made me lose a lot of money, customers complain about delays and lost packages, Amazon must be aware of the situation with USPS here in Atlanta, I have had to give refunds every day, many complaints, I am very sad!

I feel your pain, and have a thread posted on the same topic (search "Atlanta USPS meltdown"). I also periodically count up the damage from the History overview page in my postage software.

I did it again today, taking the date range from Feb. 21 (around the time the problems started) thru March 22, about a week ago. In that period I sent out 69 items and all should have been delivered based on USPS estimates.

Of the 69, only 27 have actually been delivered. Of the 42 still outstanding, all but a handful are still stuck somewhere in the Atlanta area. The botched opening of the "state of the art" facility in Palmetto is the culprit, as I'm sure you know. It affects both incoming and outgoing mail and is worse than even the delays were in the pandemic.

I've paused all advertising, stretched out delivery promises and sales have slowed to a trickle. Also have looked into other carriers but they want more than 2X the cost. Have also sent e-mails to Sens. Ossoff and Warnock who are working on the issue and demanding answers from the postmaster general. About all that's left is putting everything on vacation status. Just maddening.

Been shipping with USPS 15 + years now and this is by far the worst its ever been. Day after day of A-Z claims and refunds due to delays and lost shipments. Losing thousands for the lost products, shipping costs, and negative feedbacks we are receiving due to no fault of our own. USPS is completely ruining businesses and livelihoods in Atlanta.

Here is some metrics for you.

289 of 30,973 orders on ODR last 60 days.

We usually run about .20%

We have had to refund almost 10 thousand packages in last 30 days or had to reship Replacements. Most packages were held for 2-3 weeks in Memphis distribution center.

Does amazon care? Nope.

A to Z claims though the roof.

I have never seen USPS this bad in my life. all of our products are custom.
