Many of our products have lost buy box

Hi Amazon Professionals,

We've been selling on Amazon for years and have been doing our best to keep our account healthy, but overnight, many of our products have lost their “Buy Box” option. We have noticed that most of the products that have lost the “Buy Box” are in the Batteries and Chargers category, has Amazon made any changes to this category?

I contacted seller support several times and they said it was a pricing issue. Amazon may compare the selling price with products from other platforms, and if we have a higher price we lose the “Buy Box”.

This makes no sense, we also sell on other platforms and most of them have lower closing commissions than Amazon, so even if the product costs the same, you can only set a higher selling price on Amazon's . Unless Amazon can lower it's commission percentage.

Any experience sellers with this same issue, thank you for your advise!

In general Amazon doesn't provide any details on why a Seller is or is not selected for the Featured Offer, however I have requested an internal review of your Featured Offer Eligibility, which is required to be selected.
