Erroneous shipping charges, been trying for months to fix, support not disputing
@KJ_Amazon I've been hit with erroneous extra shipping fees - almost $1,000 in total at this point - on a number of packages where the carrier measured things incorrectly. There's one order in particular that I've attempted multiple help tickets - with pictures! - for MONTHS now and haven't been able to get Amazon support to dispute the charges with UPS.
I called UPS today and asked if Amazon has reached out to them to discuss the package or charges with them. The UPS rep said there was no record of Amazon attempting contact on this package.
It's just inconceivable to me that it's this difficult to get erroneous extra shipping fees reversed. Can you provide any guidance for me on how to get my requests to cut through the "noise" of copy-paste lower level support, and get someone from Amazon to actually dispute the issue with UPS?
Or help me obtain the invoice # so I can do that work myself directly with UPS?
Thanks.

Hello @Seller_ZJnCAIBXxX7E8. Thanks for checking in about your recent carrier adjustments.
If you share the Case ID(s) I will review them and determine if there are any additional steps you can take to dispute those adjustments and the review decisions.
Invoice/adjustment IDs are not shared with sellers. If sellers wish to dispute any adjustments issued by carriers including USPS, that must be done through Amazon Support, who will escalate the disputes as needed.

First of all, thanks for your continued support. It really helps having someone like you help out.

1) Discussion on Resolved Charges
*
For this one, the support rep said "In this case the weight you entered for this order was [60 X 6.25 X 6.25 IN Weight: 128 OZ = 8 LB] and the carrier audited weight for this item is [60 X 6 X 6 IN Weight: 40 LB]. You were charged for the difference in package [weight OR dimensions]." You can see that the carrier audited dimensions are slightly smaller than mine. These same measurements are reflected in the transaction view for that charge.
Weird, huh?
Ah, I see. Thank you for anything you may have done to help that happen!
It's confusing because the most recent support message on that help ticket is essentially saying "no we aren't going to reverse those charges."
I've actually had this happen before on another ticket, where the charges got refunded but the last customer support message said, "no." This is a source of confusion. From a seller's perspective, it would be nice if we got a message telling us the funds were reimbursed.

2) Tickets Still Outstanding

17548201091 - I submitted photos a few days ago and it looks like this one is still being worked on.
17711938541 - this is actually a new ticket that was opened since my original post. Would you mind prompting the internal team for a reconsideration of that one in light of the evidence?
Thanks again, @KJ_Amazon

I checked this case, and it is still open and in the process of investigation.
I asked our team to review Case 17711938541 and confirm the audited dimensions and adjustment.
