Can't create listing with GS1 UPC and support incorrectly says the UPC is invalid
I am unable to create listings with any of the UPCs I bought directly from GS1. I bought 10 UPCs last week (96+ hours ago) and each time I try to create a listing I receive the following error:
SKU ********* does not match any ASIN and contains invalid values for attributes required for creation of a new ASIN. New ASIN creation requires the following attributes, for which this SKU provided invalid attribute value(s): standard_product_id.
When I contact Seller support, they tell me the product ID (UPC) is invalid. They tell me that they verify all UPCs against GS1. This makes no sense to me since I bought the UPCs directly from GS1 and the owner of the UPCs in GS1 (Company Name) matches the Legal Entity Name of my Amazon store. I can also publicly verify the UPCs using GS1's publicly available verification page.
I am routinely door-slammed by support telling me my UPCs are invalid, with no other information to go on. What can I do to create my listing?

go to the website of GS1 called gepir and do a search using your numbers. If you see that YOU are the owner of this UPCs, reopen your case and send a screenshot of it. You are the owner, exactly as you appear in "Legal Entity" and "Official Registered Address". Additionnally it should mention your brand.

If the UPCs are that new, then Amazon probably hasn't synced with GS1 yet to see them as valid.

While support stated I had to wait 72 hours for the GS1 UPCs to properly be validated at Amazon, it turned out to be 5 days. Now the UPCs are validated and I can create the listings.
