US seller, want to put CA account on semi perm vacation

We are US sellers, but we also have a CA account. We have been shipping to CA, but with all of the tarrifs right now, we would like to just pause that business.

Could someone please tell me how to put the CA account on hold or vacation, but not change the status of our US account? It seems like when I do something to the CA account, then it also impacts my US account.

I would prefer to not close the CA account, but just put it on an extended vacation. I cannot find any discussions that talk about this.

I believe the best option would be to zero out any inventory and put on vacation.

When you go into Settings>Account Info, there is a link for Vacation Settings. you can put marketplaces on vacation one at a time (and that's the way mine has been since day 1).

Note that if you have any listings in those marketplaces, you will see charges on your credit card for that share of the Pro plan fees; total amount is still the same, but you won't have funds for it to be taken from, so they charge your credit card.

Hello @Seller_QfQ2oynetkrMo,

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I can assist here. @Seller_OvL8C4BJWiuS9and @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrw are correct (thank you both), although when looking for the actual Vacation Mode help page, I have noticed there are no longer instructions, but you can make your Listing Status in CA inactive which will pause FBM offers, but not FBA.

The Listing status for vacations, holidays, and other absences help page provides instructions notes to keep in mind.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Best, Dougal
