lost inventory that is not acknowledged as lost
I see many threads about lost inventory, but none seem to cover this issue.
In total for a particular SKU, 11 cases never made it into the LEDGER as `Receipts`, and 5 cases were lost in `WhseTransfers`.
So 16 total cases went missing, and of those FBA reimbursed 8 of them for some reason. The remaining 8 are currently lost, but we've just been stuck in a loop for 3 weeks over and over explaining the issue. Every time I explain the problem to a support person live (and it takes well over an hour for them to come to grips with the reality of this weird issue) they then transfer the ticket to some other email-only team, and then that email-only team ignores the issue and closes the ticket with a boilerplate copy/paste thing about reconciliation having already been completed or some such nonsense.
Anyone ever made it out of this loop?

Hey there @Seller_4mcVCJvBL6iWQ, sorry to read about this. I'd be happy to see if I can try to help cut through on this one by escalating to the appropriate channel(s) if you'd be willing to share the case ID(s)?

Yes. For 2 months I participated in FBA. They lost 2 books out of about 15 I shipped to them. I paid $250 each to buy them. For a month they were shown as attempting to locate. Then they dissipated altogether. I'll just write off the loss and not rock the boat

I started with FBA January of 2023 (17 months now). Out of 116 shipments: we have 41 received fine, 20 open shipments, and 55 shipments with inventory lost/missing etc. That is a screw up rate of 57% of the time.
FBA is unbelievably bad and the support tickets with "email only" contact are always copy/paste responses unrelated to proof you provided to them or questions you ask. I currently have 2 cases still open from September and October that shows in the Inventory Ledger that the products were received yet they still refuse to reimburse me (currently 20+ cases open for each of those issues and endless emails and 10+ hours on the phone just for them to refer it back to the email only department.
This is the reason myself and so many others have decided to cut way back or leave Amazon all together for other platforms that know how to count or track our product with out losing it.
