We just got a UPS adjustment for 50% of the original label cost for "Delivery Area Surcharge". Doesn't Amazon know ahead of time that UPS would charge more for the address? We could've used USPS instead.

Also, you're correct that USPS might have been a more cost-effective option for this particular address. USPS often doesn't charge additional fees for remote areas.
