Selected wrong FNSKU by mistake while creating shipment and shipped to Amazon.

Hi Seller Community,

We wanted to get help/suggestions regarding a shipment we recently sent to Amazon where we selected a wrong FNSKU while creating the shipment. This was confirmed when some of the customer returns had comments that they received the wrong unit and we received a listing violation.

We sent a shipment of 120 units to Amazon. Both FNSKUs, the one we sent and the one we mistakenly selected, are the same product but different colors, and both require Amazon Labelling.

These 120 units were sent in 3 shipments 40 units each, out of which the first shipment (FBA1810588F7) has been completely received and closed, for which we are afraid the FC might have labelled incorrectly since the (wrong) FNSKU of the shipment has been received against that shipment and added to our inventory.

The second shipment (FBA18100SVRX) has 10 units received as the wrong FNSKU, 21 received against the right one (they might have noticed and labelled these 21 correctly) and the 9 units still have not been received. Shipment is still in receiving status. The 10 units must have been labelled incorrectly.

The third shipment (FBA180ZQKW97) is in receiving status but 0 units have been received, which makes sense since the FC might have realized that the FNSKU sent is not actually the one we have selected in the shipment. (But we are afraid of losing these 40 units as well, as they will be treated as missing/not sent).

We raised a case (15409695061) with support where we explained the issue, they investigated, shared some pictures and said that "defect not found", which we know is not right. Tried calling them to further explain but the call connected and they immediately went on mute, we waited about 6 minutes before they hung up.

We are not sure what to do here since this has never happened before. We don't want the customers to get wrong units, which would affect our account health, and we don't want to lose our units as well.

Is there a way to get these units checked and relabeled to the correct FNSKU at Amazon? Any help/suggestions would be very appreciated.

Please don't make our lives more difficult by describing WHAT you sent in WHICH shippment.... that is not relevant.

Just say "We put the wrong FNSKU, what can we do?"

Amazon will not change your FNSKUs. I ask myself - since the only difference is the color - if it would be possible to change temporarily your pictures in your listings? I suppose these are variations. If that is possible, do that and you have to sell out all ...or continue as it will be with the changed colors.

Otherwise, you know: removal order, wait weeks and months, relabel, send in again.

IN CASE YOU PUT THE CORRECT FNSKUs and the mistake is JUST in your shipping plan: don't worry.
