Hidden parent - Amazon created ASIN?
Hi run into some strange between parentage in different marketplaces and any help would be appreciated.
I created parent ASIN let's call it US-PARENT in US marketplace for my product A and B, variation is colours.
Then in DE marketplace, A and B also became child with variations, just like US, except I can't find any parent ASIN.
When I tried the Create variations using Variation Wizard tool, I found a new parent -this ASIN was not created by us, it is also not in our catalogue in DE. The problem is I cannot
1. edit this parent's title etc
2. edit parentage or remove child ASINs.
Seller support does not help and refused my request to delete the parent or remove the child.
I also turned off Building Internation Listing in case it is causing linking between marketplaces.,
any thoughts/ideas would be highly appreciated, thanks!!

If you are a US seller, international listings can automatically appear on just the North American market. ERGO...you can see your products appear automatically on the Canada marketplace if you do not turn off remote fulfillment. (It depends if Canada/Mexico rules allow your product to be sold there).
USA to DE has to be deliberate.
I would ask the following questions.
1. Do the child ASINs match with your listings in DE vs USA? Its only the parent that has a different ASIN?
2. The parent ASIN is just used to link multiple ASINS together. Are you sure that you want to change the title on the parent? Have you tried to change the title on just the child ASINS?

Have you tried adding that parent ASIN to your inventory by using the listing loader template?
