Do NOT have access to Mobile Number on which OTP is sent
PLEASE HELPPP ASAP!
I do not have access to the Mobile Number anymore on which Amazon account was created and Amazon is sending Authentication link to that number and not giving any other options to authenticate.
Posting from my child account since the parent account is locked and listings are inactive.
Tried calling several times on the login helpline and opened various cases with seller central but they just send an email that you can reset the password but when I try to reset the password, it then again send authentication request to that number.

This happened to me about 3 months ago and absolutely destroyed my sales for 12 days. Calling Customer Service is pointless and the constant OTP loop is a headache!!
I switched cellphone carriers but changed my phone number without updating my Amazon Seller Account.
If it’s truly your account try this…
Open an incognito screen.
Go to your Amazon retail account (where you buy things).
You should immediately be prompted with a captcha security authorization.
Afterward, you should be prompted to enter your old email or phone number and then change it.
Try it and report back.
Again, this will only work if the account belongs to you.

You should have other options. Just click on the button about OTP. If that fails, call the normal Amazon Customer Service for Buying accounts. Do not mention that you are a seller. The security works the same. They are normally more helpful to Buyers.
No idea why you lost the mobile number. I would suggest using an authentication app as your first choice (more secure) with SMS/text as a backup. You should also add a second admin account with entirely different contacts.

Oh, you have many issues. Changed the deposit method. Gave access to some random stranger, lost a phone. You failed to mention anything but the lost phone in your original post.
You will need to seek a deep verification. You appear to Amazon as a stolen account.
I will help no further. You may be the bad guy.

Are you victim of a “scammer” and “bought” this account? If yes, nobody will be able to help you. And the worst: since you say you own a “child account” (probably you mean a user permission) you will even have big problems to create a seller account on your own on your name. Sorry for that.

Why on earth wouldn’t you just give access to your VA on a staff account?

It happens easier than many people think. We had it happen before as well, and had to jump through hoops to get it all fixed.

I would contact seller support through their messaging system, provided for one is locked out of seller central. Look here:

I hope that helps!

Hi @Elev8_Merchandice,
Can you provide me with the case IDs you referenced in the original post? I will take a look to see if I can help escalate.
Thanks,
Tatiana

We had the same problem. Lost iPhone and orders were still coming in. Laptop was logged out so had to use the library machine. Until the replacement phone got activated (2.5 days later) we ate the orders and all were late. Lost premium shipping as well. As expected, Amazon Seller Support did nothing and was of 0 help
The silver lining was that we used it as an opportunity to dump out old stock and list on the e-site which has been so-so.
