Late Shipment Rate - But Orders Didn't Show Up On Seller Central!
For background, our FBM shipments are imported automatically into our 3rd party shipping software every day. We ship every morning M-F. We've been getting some late shipments lately and were concerned our shipping software was lagging behind somehow and not importing all orders so we've been manually cross checking each Amazon order on the portal to the shipping software, every day.
Today, we opened Seller Central to find that numerous orders from Sunday evening showed up for the first time this morning (it is now Tuesday morning) with a ship date of yesterday (Monday). There was no way for us to even ship the order out yesterday because we ship in the mornings and the orders still hadn't shown up despite all of them being timestamped on Sunday late afternoon/early evenings (a few came in late evening). Either way, those orders should have shown up on Seller Central by Monday morning for our shipping software to have imported them in so we could fulfill. We never imagined the issue would have been on Amazon's side and not the third party shipping software.
We called Support and they said they can't reverse the late shipments and next time to just try to refresh or use a different browser, which isn't helpful advice because how will we know to refresh or use a different browser if we don't know orders are showing up late on Seller Central until after the fact?
Has anyone had this happen before? Am I missing something with my settings or something else? It seems unfair for me to be penalized for shipping late when the orders aren't even showing up until two days later for me to fulfill it. I'm thinking I'll be forced to change to 2 day handling time instead of 1.

Just a question, but were these pending orders that took 2 days to authorize and come through?

Hi @Seller_ytxlXQHPnbuBL,
I took a look at the case you submitted for this. I can see that the majority of these orders came in on Sunday. I will escalate this internally to see if they can help with this. I would also suggest reaching out to your 3rd party software contact. You will want to make sure everything is working as properly to not impact the late shipment rate.
Best,
Dominic
