Who should submit documents?
If you are contacted by Amazon, you must provide documents to confirm the safety of your
products. Amazon requires certain documentation that indicates testing compliance with
applicable standards or regulations for each product you are applying to sell.
How do I request approval to sell Products regulated by the Radio Law?
Amazon’s policies require that Products regulated by the Radio Law sold through the
Amazon website meet specified certification standards. If you are contacted by Amazon,
please submit the following information to jp-giteki-safety@amazon.co.jpand obtain approval.
Note: You may need to wait for a while until your application is confirmed. Please refrain from
creating duplicate cases during this time. Duplicate submissions cause a delay in
review.

(1) Specified low-power radio stations

Certificate of Compliance (issued by a registered conformity assessment body, the
document should include Technical Conformity (GITEKI) number on the label ).

Photographs of the label that contains a Technical Conformity mark (GITEKI).
(2) Radio stations operating with extremely low power of emission: One of the following
evidences.

Radio stations operating with extremely low power of emission compliance mark (ELP mark
or TELEC mark)

Documents that indicate the product is compatible with Radio stations operating with
extremely low power of emission
Electric Appliances and Material Safety Law (PSE)

Copy of Notification of Business for Manufacturing (or Importing) Electrical Appliances
and Materials (the copy must have a receipt stamp from METI, and the Table of
Classification by Katashiki must be included in the copy)

Photograph of label that contains a PSE mark (PSE mark, name of Notifier, name of
registered conformity assessment bodies and rated voltage etc. must be legibly shown)

Certificate of Compliance (the document must be issued by one of registered conformity
assessment bodies and confirmed Model No. of rated label)

Proof of METI’s approval if there is a difference between the name of Notifier in labels
and the one in Notification of Business
