Starting March 1, 2022, we will start a new promotion lowering the standard referral rate from 15% to 12% for the portion of the total sales price per unit up to 3,000 JPY and to 8% for the portion greater than 3,000 JPY. This promotion will end on February 28, 2023. For example, on an item with a total sales price of 8,000 JPY, the referral fee rate will be 12% on the first 3,000 JPY and 8% on the remaining 5,000 JPY, resulting in a total referral fee of 760 JPY and an effective fee rate of 9.5% (3,000 JPY *12% + 5,000 JPY *8%).

For example, on an item with a total sales price of 26,000 JPY, the referral fee rate will be 10% on the first 10,000 JPY and 6% on the remaining 16,000 JPY, resulting in a total referral fee of 1,960 JPY and an effective fee rate of 7.5% (10,000 JPY *10% + 16,000 JPY *6%).
Discounts are set and applied on a per-product-category basis. If a buyer purchases multiple products at the same time, each product will be eligible for the discount set for its product category.
The basis is the date when confirmation of shipment is sent for the ordered product. Accordingly, if confirmation of shipment is sent during the promotion period, the discount will be applied.
You can check categories in Seller Central, in the Manage Inventory > Sales Rank section. If the Sales Rank column is not displayed, you can add it from Manage Inventory > Preferences. If a category is incorrect, go to Manage Inventory > Edit > Vital Info > Recommended Browse Nodes to change it. If you cannot edit it, contact technical support.
