Create a new listing that uses virtual tracking

This page describes how to create a new FBA listing that uses virtual tracking, which relies on the manufacturer barcode. .

By default, your seller account is set to use the manufacturer barcode to track your eligible inventory throughout the Amazon fulfillment process. You can change your barcode settings only for new shipments and for inventory that has not yet been received at the fulfillment center.

When using manufacturer barcodes, products must meet eligibility requirements listed on Using FBA virtual tracking. In addition, for products that are approved by the Amazon Brand Registry, ASINs must be linked to a parent brand using a global category owner identification number. For more information, go to Amazon Brand Registry.
