Order notifications
The Order Notification e-mail contains information about the product(s) purchased in a given order and provides sellers with the order ID and the shipping method selected by the buyer. E-mails are sent after an order is confirmed, and each e-mail contains only one order. This e-mail is a one-way communication. For sellers who process orders manually or do not have a large volume of orders, this system can be a convenient way to receive alerts when items are purchased. Orders Reports and other account functionality must still be used to verify the e-mail information, retrieve shipping information, contact buyers, or otherwise manage orders.Note:The Orders Report is the definitive source for order information. Use the Orders Notification e-mail to supplement this report. See Orders Report for more information on using orders reports.
Out-of-stock notifications
The popular out-of-stock notification e-mail gives you a weekly personalized report of your out-of-stock products that customers are looking for on our website but are unable to buy. We will only send this report to you if you have qualifying out-of-stock products.
Business updates
Business updates are sent periodically and include useful information about new features, promotion opportunities, selling tips, and more.
Claims notifications
The Claims Notification e-mail is sent when a buyer makes a claim with Amazon disputing a charge for your products or services.
Technical notifications
Technical notifications are used should Amazon need to communicate scheduled changes or outages that may have an impact of your operations.
