Shipping Region Automation helps in setting up delivery regions for One-Day Delivery and Two-Day Delivery based on the delivery speeds of your preferred shipping services and your warehouse location(s). Amazon will periodically refresh these regions to reflect the latest speeds of shipping services you select. With Shipping Region Automation enabled, you will not need to manually configure your delivery regions for Seller Fulfilled Prime and Premium Shipping Options (PSO). Prime regions for Standard Shipping Option is set according to the regions for One-Day Delivery and Two-Day Delivery.
To create an automated Prime shipping template, perform the following steps:

Prime-eligible regions are determined based the carrier’s delivery performance (e.g. on-time delivery) from your shipping location(s) to destination regions (at a prefecture granularity) where customers order from that are enabled for Prime in your shipping templates. A region will be considered as Prime-eligible as long as one of your preferred shipping services can deliver to Customer within the delivery promise (i.e., Next Day Delivery or Two Day Delivery). Changes are made periodically to ensure maximum possible Prime coverage with high on-time delivery for Prime shipments.
No. The shipping region automation is defined under the normal condition, and does not account for the impact by a sudden incident that deteriorates carrier’s delivery performance. Please manually change the shipping regions by yourself as necessary in such cases.
You can select up to 10 shipping locations. Automated shipping regions will be a union (or sum) of all regions that the selected shipping services can deliver from each shipping location for One-Day Delivery and Two-Day Delivery orders.
Currently, you can use TA-Q-BIN, TA-Q-BIN Compact, and Yu-Pack for the Shipping Region Automation. You should select the carriers/shipping services that you use to ship your One-Day Delivery and Two-Day Delivery orders. All the displayed shipping services in the Shipping Preference Selector are eligible for selection.
Yes. Please select all shipping services that you intend to use for Premium Shipping orders. Delivery regions will be set as a union (or sum) of all regions that the selected shipping services can deliver. As the Delivery regions may be different across shipping services, if you choose multiple shipping services in a template, please make sure that the on-time delivery is feasible for the Delivery regions by all the ship methods you selected.
Prime coverage is calculated as the percentage of JP population that are within the Prime regions covered by your selected shipping services from your shipping location.
We enable a region as Prime when the selected shipping service can deliver on-time to the region with high on-time delivery performance. If we find that some of the shipments in that region cannot be delivered on time, we may turn off that region as Prime to protect the customer experience. However, as delivery speeds of shipping services improve, a non-Prime region may be upgraded to a Prime region.
Whenever Amazon updates a region in an automated shipping template, Amazon will create a new version of the shipping template. You can go to the shipping template’s revision history to check if a new version of the template has been created.
The regions can be delivered by Next Day Delivery or Two Day Delivery. We choose the one of these ship methods based on the carrier’s delivery performance. For example, if the Next Day Delivery is selected for the region, you can see the region’s name in shippable regions of Next Day Delivery section and in unshippable regions of Two Day Delivery.
Unfortunately, no. Currently, Shipping Region Automation is only effective for a Seller who ship from Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu (including Okinawa) except Ritou. Technically, Ritou Sellers can enable the Shipping Region Automation; however, the automated region is assumed that items are shipped from the mainland region the Ritou Seller belongs to.
Yes, you can disable Shipping Region Automation by clicking the toggle button, and select regions manually on a shipping template.
