Which carriers provide tracking information to Amazon?

Please note, not every shipment by Non-Japan carriers will be tracked even the carriers are listed as integrated. *When fulfilling Amazon orders, please use the shipping methods and shipping labels that provided by carriers. Please do not use those of specially designed for other EC platforms.

What is the carrier name to be entered when updating the tracking ID?

If you are using Seller Central, locate the order in Manage Orders and click Confirm shipment. On the Shipping Details page, select the carrier name from the drop-down menu. If the carrier name of your choice is unavailable, select Other and enter the carrier name as defined on the carrier website.

If you are uploading the tracking details or using API, make sure that the carrier name matches what is provided in the drop-down menu as described above. Use formal carrier names below for Japanese carriers:

I want to check that the tracking information I entered matches my carrier's format for tracking IDs. What are the tracking ID formats used by Amazon-supported carriers?

Integrated carrier Tracking ID format
Yamato Transport

11 or 12 numeric, single byte (Example: 12345678910 , 123456789101)

Japan Post

12, 13 or 14 numeric, or alpha numeric, single byte (Example: 123456789101, RH123456789CN)

Sagawa

10 or 12 numeric, single byte (Example: 1234567891, 123456789101)

How do I edit a tracking number?

You can edit order tracking information up until the order is delivered. To edit the details:

  1. In Seller Central, select Orders, then click Manage Orders.
  2. Click Advanced Search, enter the Order ID, then click Search.
  3. Once you find the correct order, click Edit shipment and provide the revised tracking number.

Allow 72 hours for the report and metrics to reflect the changes.

Note: If there is a mistake in the tracking ID entry, edit the tracking ID after 5 minutes from the initial entry.

How do I select a shipping method?

You can enter a correct ship method provided by each carrier.
