Amazon Points Central is available to all professional sellers with access to Seller Central.
You have to have the “View & Edit” user permission to make changes on Amazon Points Central. Contact the admin user in your company to grant the permission. Go to Settings > User Permissions > Manage Permissions> Advertizing/Points, then select respective permission.
You can set a single points percentage for all offers (Account-Level Points Percent) with the option to set different points percentage by offer (Offer-Level Points Percent List ). You can also update the points percentage for all your offers based on these settings with a single click.
You can change the settings as many times as you require.
You can select any value (without decimals) between 0% and 50%.
We set the Account-Level Points Percent default 1% as customers prefer points to straight discount at low discount percentages. To support seller adopting points, we are offering points cost discount from October 15, 2021, to October 14, 2022.
If you want to set a new points percentage for some of your offers other than the one in the Account-Level Points Percent feature, you have to indicate the SKU and the preferred point percentage for the offer in Offer-Level Points Percent List. You can then upload the Offer-Level Points Percent List to Amazon Points Central. You also have the option to update the list with the latest version.
You can select 0% from the drop-down menu of Account-Level Points Percent and click the Update offers now button.
If you want to cancel the list already uploaded, you have to upload a blank Offer-Level Points Percent List to overwrite the previous one.
Below are some common reasons for upload failure and solutions. You can also download the processing report to find out the reasons of failure. Refer to How to set up Amazon Points on Seller University for detailed guidance on how to use Offer-Level Points Percent List.

The Account-Level Points Percent will be applied to all offers including the offers with sale prices. You can either set different points percentage in“sale_price_points_percent” via an Inventory File or via the Offer Detail page.
Account-Level Points percent will apply to offers running deals. However, there is an existing issue that points cannot be displayed or earned by customers if an offer is running deal (Deal of the Day, Lighting Deal, and 7-day Deal). For example, even if you set 1% for an offer that is running Deal of the Day (DOTD), the offer will not show points during the DOTD period, neither can customers earn points from this offer. After the DOTD, 1% points will show up automatically. We are currently solving this issue.
No. The Account-Level Points Percentage does not apply to business price or quantity discount.
Business price and quantity discount cannot be higher than your regular price with points (item price - points). Either adjust your point percentage or your business price/quantity discount to make sure they are not higher than your regular price with points.
You can download the Inventory Report from the Inventory tab. Note that the points value displayed in the Inventory Report represents points amount, not points percentage. For example, “5” in the points field represents “5pt” not “5%”. You will have to convert this to points percentage when filling in the Offer-Level Points Percent List in Amazon Points Central.
When you add a product one by one from Inventory Management, your Account-Level Points Percentage you set will be pre-populated on the offer detail page. You can edit the point percentage to any value between 0% and 50% (integer). If you add products via Inventory Files, make sure to input point percentage (integer between 0-50) as there is no pre-fill of point percentage in Inventory Files.

You are currently charged 1JPY per point you offer to customers. No other fees are charged.
The cost of points is calculated as product price (excluding shipping and gift wrapping fee) multiplied by the points percentage. For example, if a product price is 1,000 JPY with 2% points, the cost of points will amount to 20 JPY.
Starting October 15, 2021, until October 14, 2022, the cost of points will be reduced by 9% to 0.91 JPY per point. This discount will apply to points issued up to 1% of the price of the offer. Points issued above 1% will be charged at the standard rate of 1 JPY per point. The discount amount is calculated on the cost of points using the rounding method. For instance, for an offer with a standard price of 1,000 JPY with 2% points, the original cost of points before discount is 20 JPY. After discount, the cost of points would be 19 JPY (discount calculated as 1,000 JPY x 1% x 9% - rounding to 1 JPY).
Offers with points provided by professional sellers and completed shipment between October 15, 2021, and October 14, 2022, are automatically eligible for the discount. The discount will be automatically applied whenever you make a sale. No additional enrollment is necessary.
No. The referral fee will be calculated based on the nominal value of the points issued (before the cost discount). For example, if an order amount is 10,000 JPY with 2% points (that is, 200pt) and the referral fee rate is 15%, the referral fee will continue to be calculated as (10,000 - 200) x 15% = 1,470 JPY. However, your proceeds will include an additional 9 JPY associated to the promotional discount in the cost of points.
Points will display in both percentage and the equivalent value granted to customers (that is, before point cost discount) on Customer order confirmation and Order details on Seller Central.
You can confirm the cost of points after discount for each order on Transaction Detail page. To access the Transaction Detail page, follow the below path:
Reports > Payments >Transaction View > Find the order and click Total amount.

The Account-Level Points Percent was not applied to those offers during the automatic update to avoid offers being deactivated.
